Sensing and Photocatalysis Nanomaterials Laboratory

The Sensing and Photocatalysis Nanomaterials (SPN) Laboratory was formerly known as Scanning Probe Nanotechnology Laboratory. Our previous research efforts focused on scanning probe microscopy and related applications in nano-characterization and nanolithography. In recent years, due to the fast development of energy and environmental research, our main research efforts gradually shift to growth of metal oxide nanocomposites and applications in sensing and photocatalysis. At the present time, the main research topics include gas sensing of nitrogen oxides, photodegradation of organic dyes, antibacterial activity, etc. Students are welcome to join our group.
